We are seeking nominations for the following leadership positions.
President is primarily responsible for Chapter operations. He/she presides over all Board Meetings and actively participates in monthly program meetings. This person is also responsible for sharing communications between International, Region and Chapter membership and may participate on any of the other committees as needed.
Executive Vice President assists the President and performs the duties of the President in the absence or disability of the President. The Executive Vice President serves as a ” sounding board” for the chapter members, seeking out ideas, hearing complaints, and handling recommendations and is expected to serve on no less two Committees as appointed by the President.
Treasurer is responsible for the financial transactions for the Chapter including the annual budget, payment of invoices, preparing a monthly financial statement and reports for the board, submitting reports required by ARMA International, and ensuring accuracy in the Chapter accounts.
Vice President, Membership is responsible for maintaining a current membership roster for the chapter and for actively recruiting new members. This person maintains contact with ARMA International, Inc member services and cooperates in the membership policies and plans of the Association.
Vice President , Marketing & Advertising is responsible for establishing and implementing the yearly Marketing Plan for the Chapter; establishing advertising rates for Chapter publications including the Newsletter and Chapter website; promoting sponsorship of Chapter events and the advertising in Chapter publications by member/non-member vendors; and is the primary vendor liaison.
Librarian (non-voting position) is responsible for maintaining the physical library collection; verifying and fulfilling loan requests; tracking statistics, maintaining library catalog, budgeting and making recommendation for additions; and as appropriate, promoting library services to members.
Technology Advisor (non-voting position) is responsible for keeping the Board informed of new technology and applications to promote the Chapters goals. This position will leverage Social Media platforms in assist ARMA NNJ in engaging with potential and existing members and sponsors. In addition, they will make recommendations to the Board for strategy and oversee the execution of a Social Media plan, collaborating with Board members on appropriate messaging, and creating/tracking analytics.
CRM Liaison (non-voting position) is responsible for promoting the CRM designation for Chapter membership; supporting candidates throughout the application and testing process including organizing meetings and study groups. They will liaise with the VP Programs on education seminars and workshops to obtain CRM credit approval and be responsible for recognizing new CRMs.” A prerequisite of holding this position would be good standing as a CRM.
